Weekend updates and more - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Sunday, September 28, 2003 @ 11:24 AM-

Nickolas Butler has sent in some nice pictures of the F-Zero GX baseball cap. You could win the cap in the F-Zero GX tournaments that took place at Gamestop around the US launch of F-Zero GX. The baseball cap has F-Zero GX embroidered on the front, and a zippered pocket on the side which had a memory card 251 inside.

The locations section has been upgraded to world wide now with registered locations from Australia and Canada. I'm aware of the technical problems there are at the Austrlian and European location pages, so no need to email me about those. Anyway we now have have 6 registered locations and still counting ;)

Also I've seen a lot of people being upset that there are almost no F-Zero AX machines in the whole of USA. No need for that. Nintendo said that F-Zero AX would launch in USA in September, but Nintendo is Nintendo, they are horrible at sticking to release dates. And no, F-Zero AX hasn't "really" launched yet. The few places where you can find an F-Zero AX are just Arcades that are very up-to-date with the games they have. There will be many more F-Zero AX machines coming this fall.

The last thing I'll say is that an F-Zero Trivia will start October the 1st in the Pit Stop. And you defintely wouldn't want to miss it, since the winner will run off with an unofficial Pilot Profile Soundtrack.

I added a news archive today. The link can be found at the bottom of the page, so if you missed any updates you can see them all in our archive.

Another cover and... Locations! - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Saturday, September 20, 2003 @ 5:59 AM-

The infamous(...nah) Misto-Roboto has been nice to scan the cover of the Official Guide from Nintendo Power, and making the Mag Cover section grow even bigger. Thanks again Misto!

And finally F-Zero World's Location database has openened. Go check it out, cause it's really neat. Of course there aren't that many locations for now, but there will be in the future. So everytime you discover an F-Zero AX somewhere remember to write down all the needed info, thank you.

Many updates - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Friday, September 19, 2003 @ 9:56 AM-
I've updated a lot of pages today and hopefully more updates tonight.

I've added the F-Zero GX promotion standee, which you can find around electronic stores. They are pretty rare and not easy to obtain(when I was in New York I found one, and even though I begged, I still couldn't get it). See it among the other merchandize.

I've also added Sliding to Techniques. Sliding was THE technique to use in F-Zero X, it totally dominated the other techniques, but in F-Zero GX Sliding meets Snaking and the big showdown is inevitable.

The review section has also opened. Though for now Chunky Monkey's review is the only one up. You can send me your reviews by email or by pm(private message) at the forums.

The last update can be found in the Staff page where some new names have appeared under credits. Thank you again!

Now to something cool happening really soon. The F-Zero AX Location page will open very soon(maybe tonight). It will be a database similar to the one featured at www.ddrfreak.com, but with F-Zero AX locations instead of course. To begin with we will only register the locations in USA, but it's almost certain that we'll include Canada and Europe as well in the future.

Phew... it's been a hard day ;)

Who made this? - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Tuesday, September 16, 2003 @ 11:59 AM-
The Staff page has finally been added, so if you want to know our deepest secrets... you gotta look somewhere else, cause I ain't gonna tell you all about me and Gideon ;)
If you want your name on the Credit list you have to make yourself worthy for it. I.E. send in Mag Cover, Merchandize, or special info. I expect to see many names in the credits as the time flows.

Soon the Locations page will open. The first AX machines have already been installed a few places in USA. Our goal is to list ALL machines on the site with the help of you! More info coming soon...

Technical Difficulties - updated by: Gideon
-Monday, September 15, 2003 @ 5:49 PM-
There appears to be some problems with our sub domain not working at times. If this happens, simply type in 'http://smashboards.com/fzero/index.php'

This problem should be resolved shortly.

New Mag Cover! - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Monday, September 15, 2003 @ 7:29 AM-

Special thanks to William R Gaviria for sending this latest cover from Electronics Boutique's GMR magazine featuring an F-Zero GX article. Please contact Metroid Killer if you have a cover not featured on the site.

Merchandize added - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Sunday, September 14, 2003 @ 11:33 AM-
I can't help but drool over that F-Zero bag... If you also want to drool over the many F-Zero GX promotion materials then click on the newly opened Merchandize page. The page will updated regularly.

Also be sure to check out the Pit Stop(the F-Zero forum) during the next week as an F-Zero contest is on its way!

1 part... 2 parts... 63 parts!! - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Sunday, September 7, 2003 @ 2:30 PM-
Here's a bit late weekend update, but I've been rather busy with my family and the casual stuff. Anyway I've added the first major guide which explains many things about the custom parts. Besides having lots of part names it will work as a good checklist if you need any and explain the naming of those custom machines. I've also opened the Mag Covers page, and if you have info about any other F-Zero mag cover don't hesitate to contact me as soon as possible.
Another page that has been opened is Techniques which explains the infamous Snaking technique and more.
Finally, as you can see I've changed the font to a smaller one all over the side, so your eyes shouldn't hurt from now on ;)

Welcome to F-Zero World - updated by: Metroid Killer
-Tuesday, September 2, 2003 @ 3:25 PM-
Welcome to the grand opening of the newest edition to the Smash World Network! Gideon and I have worked hard during the past weeks to get this site up working. It's still under construction, and there might be some broken links here and there, and we will also make a nicer footer plus more. But until now feel free to browse through the many pages with all the awesome info.
We will do our best to update the site as often as possible, make it the number one source for F-Zero GX info, and fulfill all your needs. So expect a lot of cool exclusive freatures in the feature, lots of guides and more!

Also be sure to check out the new F-Zero forum at Smashboards. It will be a great place to discuss anything related to the F-Zero franchise.

Now enjoy the site :)
